The five-day high-stakes affair begins Oct. 1 at the Jeju Shinwa World Resort in South Korea, and concludes Oct. 5. Triton will livestream each session starting at noon PT.
The first Cash Game Invitational, which took place during the Triton Montenegro tournament series, brought about some of the biggest pots ever seen on livestream. Tony G, one of the most polarizing figures in poker history, had a memorable session in which the Lithuanian poker legend won a $2 million pot with jack-high but still lost big on the session.
Jeju's Cash Game Invitational could be even bigger and more intense. According to a press release, the upcoming event will have some returning players, including Andy Ni, Danny Tang, and Tan Xuan. There will be some newcomers to the games, such as online poker great Wiktor "limitless" Malinowski, Rui Cao, and Henrik Hecklen. A full list of players will be available in the coming days on the Triton Poker website.
Cash Game Invitational II will bring together some of the world's most elite poker pros and successful business personalities. The games are designed to create action and juicy pots as the lineups are full of entertaining players who like to gamble. Here's a trailer for the upcoming cash game festival.
Triton Poker is also heading to Monte Carlo for a high roller tournament series Nov. 1-14. Action begins with a $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed event, the lowest buy-in on the 14-tournament schedule.
The highlights of the series include the $125,000 Main Event (Nov. 9), $200,000 Triton Invitational (Nov. 7), and $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event (Nov. 13).
