A run is a collection of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, whereas a set is a group of three or four cards of the same rank but diffnew rummy listerent suits. Each player is dealt a predetermined number of cards at the start of the game, and the remaining cards are arranged face down in the draw pile on the table. A player's turn consists of drawing one card from the draw pile or the discard pile and discarding one card from their hand.
