Each player starts the game with thirteen cards. With the top card turned face-up to begin the discard pile, the remaiind slots all gamening cards form a face-down draw pile in the center. Players must select a card from the discard or draw pile during their turn. Next, they can discard one card to end their turn after laying down any valid sets or runs from their hand.
