To have a significant influence on people around them, they funded community health programs & supported nearby schools. Together with customary charitable contributions, they also thought aborummy aput starting a foundation aimed at assisting impoverished young people in pursuing their educational & professional goals. This project was inspired by their personal experiences growing up in a difficult setting with little access to resources. By giving away their wealth in this manner, they hoped to inspire people who might be in similar circumstances as well as to uplift others.
