It’s a historic day at WSOPC Tallinn as the first-ever Sviten Special ring event gets underway, while the €1 million guaranteed Main Event storms into Day 2 here in the heart of the Estonian capital.
Sviten Special, also known as "Drawmaha," is a Swedish invention that blends five-card draw with pot-limit Omaha. Hugely popular in Scandinavia, the game is expected to draw a large and lively field today, with many Nordic players arriving here in Tallinn hoping to claim the honor of becoming the first-ever Sviten ring winner.
Meanwhile, the WSOPC Tallinn Main Event continues with 328 players having bagged chips across the Day 1 flights. Late registration remains open until Level 12, and the €1 million guarantee has already been shattered as players from around the globe have descended on Olympic Casino for a shot at the week's Main Event. Historic Sviten Special Event to Get Underway
One of the best things about WSOPC Tallinn is the huge amount of mixed games action on offer, and that steps up another level today as the first-ever €555 Sviten Special ring event gets underway.
Although it's been a regular feature of previous Tallinn festivals as a side event, this is the first time the popular Scandinavian game has been awarded ring status, and there’s a real sense of excitement building here at OlyBet's Olympic Park Casino.

A total of 327 players have returned to the tables today, with late registration still open and the field continuing to grow. A record turnout looks well within reach here in the Estonian capital.
Estonian poker legend Markku Koplimaa leads the pack heading into Day 2 and will be aiming to add to his career live earnings of more than $1.5 million. But with a full day of poker ahead and two more still to come, there’s plenty of play left before anyone can start thinking about the final table.

Budka is the Mixed Game Master
Thursday saw another ring awarded here at WSOPC Tallinn as Poland’s Krzysztof Budka took down the €1,100 8-Game Final for €22,390 and a coveted Ticket to Paradise package.
Budka is no stranger to mixed game success, having picked up his first WSOP Circuit ring back in 2022 at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, where he won a €1,100 PLO5 event for €24,174. That same year, he also earned honors here in Tallinn, capturing the €350 OlyBet Holiday Special PLO4/PLO5 for €5,050.
