With the top card face-up to begin the discard pile, the remaining cards form a draw pile. Players have the option of selecting the top card from the discard pile or drrummy 51 listawing from the draw pile. After drawing, players have to discard one card in order to keep their hand at seven. One player declares "Rummy" and ends the round when they have successfully melded all of their cards into sets and runs. The cards that remain in the hands of opponents determine the score; face cards are worth more points.
