There are a variety of player counts that can play the game, usually between two and six. The remaining cards create a draw pile after a predegst slotstermined number of cards are dealt to each player. With the goal of creating melds to strengthen their hands, players alternately draw from the draw pile or the discard pile. When the draw pile runs out of cards or one player successfully melds all of their cards, the game is over.
