Gin Rummy, Indian Rummy, and Canasta are the most played variations. To create a "knock" hand in Gin Rummy, a player must eliminate all of thteen pttieir cards in order to form sets or runs of cards in their hand. In contrast, players of Indian Rummy need to create sets or runs in order to win. The game is played with two decks of cards & jokers. Forming melds of seven cards of the same rank is the goal of the Canasta variation.
